The Daily Sonnet - by The Daily Sonnet

A Sonnet Dedicated to Hugo Chavez

September 25th 2006 00:43
Know well that the enemy of your foe
Despite the saying, might not be a friend
Although for the moment he may pretend
To gain your support and make your cash flow
To him for projects of which you won't know
But one's purpose might be to put an end
To rights you'd fight to the death to defend
"Well" is not how I'd expect it to go

It was a bad move to invade Iraq
Dishonest and so many people died
But 'twas really no more unjustified
Than the September eleventh attack

I don't like Dubya and don't think you should
But not all those who don't like him are good
