chapter 3: playing on the darkside
Three months later Candi and Jen are having a girl’s night in: a bottle of Arbor Mist Strawberry White Zinfandel, a marathon of True Blood on HBO and some fun goofy girl talk. They are talking about how none of the guys they have met in the last three months have compared to the exciting moments they had with the Winchester boys. Maybe it was how they saved them, maybe it was how hot they looked while doing it or maybe it was just the great sex. There is a thunderstorm outside which makes it even a more perfect night to stay inside. Someone pounds on the door.
Someone says, “It’s me. Can you let me in, please?”
Jen says, “Who the hell is that at 2am?”
She goes to the door. When she opens it Sam is standing there dripping wet. His t-shirt and jeans are stuck to him like they were painted on. Jen’s jaw drops. She comes to her senses quickly noticing how frantic he is about something.
Sam says, “Dean is in the car. I need help to bring him in. Do you have cotton balls, alcohol, bandages…”
Candi says, “What’s wrong with Dean?"
The girls grab their raincoats and follow Sam to the Impala. Dean is passed out in the back seat. Blood is running down his face, down his right elbow trickling off his fingers and also running down his right leg. The girls try not to look as they help Sam Carry him inside. They put him on Candi’s bed. Sam drops down with his back against the bed, knees to his chest and hands over his eyes. Jen puts a hand on his right knee. Candi assesses Dean’s wounds.
Candi says, “I will take care of Dean. Get Sam out of here.”
Jen leads Sam to the living room couch. He sits slumped over with his hands over his face again. She puts her hand on his thigh.
Jen says, “I’m glad to see you, but not like this. What happened?”
Candi quickly cleans off Deans head placing a bandage over the small cut. She carefully cuts his long sleeve shirt off him to clean his elbow. Then she puts a bandage on that. She starts to unbutton his pants to take them off so she can see his knee. He wakes, grabs her wrists startled and then eases up when he looks in her eyes.
Dean says, “Oh, you can get in my pants anytime.”
He smiles at her as she finishes taking off his pants. She bandages his knee. He closes his eyes seeming to pass back out before she even finishes with his knee.
Tears in his eyes Sam looks at Jen.
Sam says, “He has to be ok. This is all my fault. I never should have let Ruby convince me to practice my powers. Dean came in. I didn’t know it was him. Ruby, she had others come through the door. I was killing Demons, bad guys. Then Dean came in. I can’t believe this…”
Just then a blonde girl busts through the door.
Candi is holding a cool cloth on Dean’s head. He opens his eyes again.
Dean says, “You got most of my cloths off, now what?”
Candi says, “What happened?”
Dean says, “Oh, you don’t know? My brother is Satan’s newest right hand man. That Bitch Ruby had him attack me.”
Candi thinks to herself Ruby has to be one psycho chick. She knows Sam would never hurt Dean unless it was to save his life. no wonder Dean did not want Sam to use his powers on Richard. She knows this is going to get worse before it gets better. She shushes Dean putting her finger to his mouth. Then she kisses him softly.
The woman at the door says, “Sam, let’s go.”
Sam’s eyes get dark as he looks toward the woman.
Jen says, “No, he’s staying with me.”
Sam says, “I’m coming Ruby.”
Jen straddles him taking his face in your hands. She gets tears in her eyes.
Jen says, “Sam, stay with me.”
She slaps him. This does nothing to draw his gaze away from Ruby. Not knowing what else to do to get him back she kisses him. He reacts kissing her back full force.
Ruby says, “Ah, you got yourself a new little slut.”
Dean insists Candi help him with his jean on so he can deal with Ruby. They make there way to the living room.
Dean says, “The only slut here is you Ruby.”
Ruby says, “Oh, you lived. I guess Sam isn't strong enough to kill you, yet. He still has that damn human heart.”
Dean Shoots Ruby, but of course barely fazes her. She just laughs wickedly.
Ruby says, Dean, You know he’s ours. You know you can’t do anything. It’s his destiny.”
Dean says, “No, Sam’s only destiny is to kill S.O.B.’s like you.”
Candi is still partially holding him up. She can tell he is in pain, but the adrenaline of the moment has him. She is worried about him and aroused by his actions at the same time. Sam has his arm around Jen now. He rubs her lower back. He looks into her teary eyes with a smile.
Sam says, “It’s going to be ok.”
He lifts one hand up towards Ruby not even looking at her. The knife from Ruby’s pocket flies into his hand.
Sam says, “You made me strong enough. Get out of here before I send you back to Hell!”
Ruby Runs off. Dean looks pissed but at least everyone is alive.
Dean says, "Why did you let her go again. I don’t know why you have such a soft spot for that evil Bitch.”
Sam says, “It wouldn’t help to send her back to Hell. She would be back topside in no time. I’m sorry Dean.”
Candi says, “What’s up with this chick anyway? Why the hell did you attack your brother Sam?”
Sam and Dean Start explaining what happened just a few hours before showing up at their door.
Sam says, “I decided to go with Ruby while Dean was sleeping. I think I can use my powers for good. Ruby had me killing demons. It felt good.”
He lowers his head feeling guilty over the outcome of his actions. Jen is sitting beside him now. She can feel how bad he is hurting from all this.
Dean says, “But I’m not a demon, freak. We’re supposed to be the good guys. You shouldn’t be using your powers Sam.”
Jen reaches for Sam’s hand. She holds his hand to let him know she is there for him.
Jen says, “Tell us the rest, Sam.”
Candi helps Dean to the chair but has to almost make him sit down because he is so riled. She pushes him a little and sits on the arm of the chair.
Sam says, “I barely remember what happened. I was out of control. I could only hear Ruby telling me demon on your right, on your left…”
He shakes his head. Jen rub his back gently. She is scared for him. She doesn’t like the anger in Dean’s eyes.
Sam says, “Then I heard you scream, Dean.”
Dean says, “I came in the warehouse. I barely recognized you, Sam. Dust was flying. Then I just felt a hot stabbing pain on my head, arm and knee. That’s all I remember until I woke up here. How did we get here?”
Sam says, “Your scream brought me back from a very dark place. When I came to my senses I went to you, Dean, ignoring everything else. I got you to the Impala. This was the closest safe place I could think of. Sorry girls.”
Smirking Dean says, “At least I didn’t have to kiss you. We’re cool, man. Just stop this evil shit, ok?”
Looking down Sam says, “yeah.”
Jen says, “Its ok. We will help you with anything.”
Candi says, “Yeah, we’re glad you came here.”
Dean says, “Ok enough emotional crap. All is good now. Babe, let me just get you back in that bed.”
Candi says, “You need to take it easy with those injuries.”
Grinning Dean says, “Not every part of me is injured.”
Candi blushes as she helps him back to her bed.
Jen says, “We should go to bed too. There are parts of you I’ve been thinking about for months.”
With a smile back on his face Sam says, “Just parts?”
Sam and Jen head to her bed room. She pushes him. He lets himself fall back on the bed. She laughs at his over dramatic fall. Then she slowly takes off her shirt, bra, pants and panties. Sam watches her strip as he takes off his own cloths too. She moves on to the bed and lays beside him with one hand moving behind his head to run her fingers through his hair.
Sam says, “So what parts of me have you been thinking about, Jen?”
She blushes. She leans up to kiss his forehead.
Jen says, “This one.”
He lays back. She gets on top of him. Then she kisses his cheek.
Jen says, “This one.”
She smiles and kisses his chin.
Jen says, “This one.”
She kisses his neck.
Whispering in his ear Jen says, “That part I miss too.”
She moves lower to kiss his chest.
Jen says, “This is one of my favorite parts.”
Sam says, “You’re such a tease. I have a favorite part of you too.”
He slaps her ass.
Jen says, “Ooo, you're so bad.”
She moves up to kiss his lips. He flips her on her back as he kisses her as strong and long as he can. With one hand he goes for her condom stash. Yes, it’s still where she had it the last time they were together. He rolls to his back. His hands shake as he opens the package and puts it on. He needs to make love to her. Breathlessly Jen say, “I love you too.”
