It’s back! Bigger, badder and more pro-American than anyone could have imagined. The all new series of 24 kicked off this Tuesday and already people are dead all over the place. I started watching this patriotic series halfway through season three and my god, Jack Bauer is still alive and fighting for the country that has sold him out on so many occasions he must be permanently unsure if he’s a hero or a con. More to the point, this season is more pro-American than any of it’s predecessors. That said, I still watch it so I can’t bag it completely, at least it keeps me wondering what’s going to happen each episode and it does do some crazy shit. For example, Jack shot and killed his best friend to protect a “terrorist turned statesman.” It’s coming back on Wednesday and who knows what’ll happen. (after the second episode of Heroes which is oh so cool.)
