Whoever the heck Dame Helen Mirren is, she once loved cocaine and smoked dope. I'm sure she no longer gets high...
And of course, how can Amy Winehouse not be included in some drug-induced high. She destroyed her lungs and now may have pickled what was left of her brain. After a 36 hour pot marathon she may be officially brain dead! Noteworthy are Amy's OD history.
In other doper news:
A home invasion. A call to 911 to report the intruders are armed. Then disconnected. When deputies arrived they found two in a closet, one bleeding. They also found a marijuana grow house!

Oh yes, it had to be the marijuana--let's not consider the animal tranquilizers she took, or the fact that schizophrenia is not caused by brain damage but by a chemical imbalance in the brain, usually congenital.
The stories you cite are speculative in nature.
Find some factual stories about marijuana being the main cause of brain damage or death or irresponsible parenting and I'll give it a fair read. This stuff, though, is pure conjecture.

Perhaps you should lay off the weed before you read my "HUMOROUS" posts. There was NO SPECULATION, just a fact. I know Winehouse has done more dangerous drugs.
You just read some delusional concept(never did I say anything about the article other than she smoked pot for 36 hours) and concluded that it is "I" who speculate.
Good thing you remained anonymous, CHICKENHAWK, but either read my CONCEPT or lay off the dope because you prove me right!

I actually like a good rebuttle if you can prove it. So give me links to why what the article said about winehouse is speculative and I'll write the real story, otherwise take my post for what they are...humorous antics of various dopers!
And before you get your underwear in a knot, I tend to believe you. I knew a guy in the 80s who smoked an oz. of pot by himself on his birthday!!! Do the math. Today he is totally brain dead, but he smoked megaweed most of his life.
So sir/ma'am...prove that a large amount in one sitting doesn't cause psych-symptoms, and I'll blog it. But I can't go on someone claiming it is speculative without proof.
Again, I agree with you and again don't read more in my posts than there is!
