She is inspired by normality and the mundane; failed glamour and the accidental embarrassments of dressing fascinate her, while slick "design concepts’ do not. This results in interesting witty pieces that subvert femininity, giving the impression they just happened without contrivance.

Up until two seasons ago she had bravely shown her collections on real women, since then she has broken with her tradition in favour of professional models. She feels this has resulted in her clothes being better understood and some prestigious new stockists have followed.
