Hello again
Thought I would comment on the latest instalment of the James Bond franchise. I had heard about the new actor Daniel Craig, the good reviews and the not so good ones too. It seems there is a website called Daniel Craig is not Bond or something like that?
To be honest, I thought it was the best Bond yet, as the characters were all believable and well played, Craig's portrayal of Bond is the best yet and you get the chilling impression that he could quite easily kill you. Eva Green, the lovely French actress, plays his main love interest, who I might add has absolutely the most stunning eyes, almost like a young Charlotte Rampling and she is well worth seeing in the movie Kingdom of Heaven where she plays a character called Sibylla. Not a bad movie, got panned by the critics, but I thought it was pretty good with a great supporting cast such as Jeremy Irons etc. The dvd with extras discs is well worth viewing too!
It was refreshing to watch a totally believable movie, with no gadgets, dialogue jokes, puns etc, just darker and all the better for it. So go and see it and rent out Kingdom of Heaven too.
First day back at work, hmmm pretty hard as been off since Dec 22, still reading the Science of Dr Who, but it is hard going though. Also started on a book I have borrowed called the 1940s House about a family who live in that era for 9 weeks, it was a tv program from the UK. There was one called the 1900s House and I also saw some of a series when they got a group of people living in Montana? And they had to build homesteads from scratch, very interesting it was. There was also one set at Ferrymead heritage park in Christchurch too I believe.
For everyone not living in Christchurch, weather has been overcast and turned chilly yet again so wearing a warmer top tonight.
