Cashmere Mafia - A Contender?
March 28th 2008 06:05
My last post was about my “lost post” and try as I might I can’t resurrect it. I’m even thinking that a Cyber-God is looking out for me, because maybe it wasn’t half as clever, funny or cheeky as I thought it was!
But I still need to mention it so here’s the gist:
For my money Cashmere Mafia isn’t a patch on Sex And the City. At the moment I can’t even think about why that is - except ,perhaps, that I find Miranda Otto’s hair mighty distracting – how does she do it like that every day and still run some sort of business empire?!
In this week’s ep, Bonnie Somerville’s character was having a bit of I-Went-To-Lesbian-And-All-I-G ot-Was-This-Pregnant-Girlfrie nd angst so she went for some hetero action with a hot guy just to muddle things further. Well, my point is, this guy was a playwright! So there’s my Writer Alert for the day.
So Cashmere Mafia is a contender for The List, but probably not for me.
Not funny or cheeky at all but some things are just meant to stay lost.

Writers In Writing (and other writing)
I haven't seen Human Nature but had a quick Google. Is it good? Charlie Kaufman hey?
Miranda Otto was indeed in Human Nature - but are you asking with irony? (she was also in Lord Of The Rings which makes her hard to miss)
Thanks for reading,
Jayne
