Cake for you, not for me!!!

a waterfall near our home, we spend most summer days playing in. it's a little fast here, after a flood.
finally got some sleep this morning at about 9:00 am-almost 2:00. some pain today, but not as anoying since i'm not exhausted tired. only four bad spasms. i was riding with hubby when it felt like someone jammed a knife into my side, towards my back and twisted four times. tears came hard and i practically screamed and then started laughing loudly. <grins> praying that was the end of those. <smiles>

had a romantic dinner with hubby. sound silly but it was at the church spaghetti dinner. we had a tabel all to ourselfs. it was alll fixed up by the kids. Krystina and Kaitlyn took turns waiting on us, and the rest of the eaters. i got a whole lot of plants back. so did everyone else that brung them. people where just there for the spaghetti. <smiles> we had salad and bread to start, then spaghetti. next the cake came around, but i passed because of my diet. didn't have much bread either. just a half a slice.after the dinner, we got our to' gos that we bought extras. one was for chris,a nd the otehrs where just so we could donate more. we'd have for left overs in a day.
after the dinner hubby and i headed to the mall to get cell phones switched around. Kaitlyn and chris got new ones. Krystina didn't get one because when i called her to switch, she said for me to wiat because she needed her info switched over, which meant her phone had to be there, which it wasn't. <frowns> she had pics of her yorkie Harlye who died last year andso not saving that, wasn't do'able. we'll switch hers soon. i already have a phone for her, just need the switch'a'roo.

i enjoyed my day out with hubby. we held hands, walked through stores just looking. headed to borders and bought the diary of ann frank and three other holcaust books. Kaitlyn and i will take turns reading out loud to each other for class. we're both anxiouse to start. we're doing biography on plants and tree's. we'll use photography wrapped in taht, takingpictures of trees and plants, making a portfolio of her pics. we're also doing art/photog. thats four fun things that will be great learnings. we have been wanting to make our own ruins with downed tree limbs. now we can learn about them as we do so.
Two of mykids leave at 6:00 am or something around that. They'll be gone seven weeks.i will miss them, but i do have alot of school stuff to do, taht will keep me busy. i can't beleive we're done with last year but sooo excited tos tart this year. i LOVE homeschooling. wish foster care would have let us do it when Kaitlyn was twelve like we wanted to. ahh well, atleast we get to now! <soft smile>

Safe travels to Chris and Krysti! Tell them for me that they'll be missed and we're looking forward to their return.

With all the plants you had lost recently, it's good you were able to get some back!

Adorable for the kids to wait on you at the church dinner!

Wendi, it was fun watching the girls at workwith their name tags on and aprons. They where such great waitresses.
i will tell Chris and Krystina!!! i miss them already.<soft smile>
