One Sided Refereeing!
August 24th 2007 10:47
It's half time at Telstra Stadium and the Storm lead the Bulldogs 8 points to 6.
I don't know where the ref Ben Cummins mind was for the first half because it's as sure as hell was not on the game!
Sure there were many errors from both teams but what is it with the penalties against the Doggies for 'holding player too long' and the infamous 'grapple tackle'. What about all the high tackles against the Doggies -how did the ref not see those? It is Melbourne who termed the 'grapple tackle' and made it famous but they continue to do it and get away with it!
I spent most of the half screaming at the television for Melbourne players to 'get off the players' and 'hands off their neck' or 'high tackle'. I sure hope the second half wont be the same. Seriously, someone needs to keep in eye out on those refs because they sure can be blind.
I have to say though that there were some funny commentaries and that helps lighten the bad mood caused by Ben!.
Off to see the second half.......
