TSVANGIRAI STILL FAVORITE

Zimbabwe is currently struggling to empirically exist as a functional state in all aspects of social life. First was the fraudulently manipulated election and now a re-run is on. My submission is that Morgan Tsvangirai is still favorite to win the poll.

This time around people will vote in more protest against the incumbent failing regime of Mugabe who many people think was defeated in the first round. This time the international community should not simply look on as though in covert approval in the electoral commission does not competently handlr the election. The world is now a global village and international morality is sacrosanct.

WHERE IS AFRICA HEADING TO?

The historical beauty and natural endowments of Africa are no better than an irony of what the continent is in reality. Like i pointed out in one of my earlier posts, there seems to be periodical waves of political and democratic reversals which in my contestation have compounded Africa's development paralysis.

First was kenya, then Zimbabwe, now South Africa where homicide is raging. Of course also on the red list are; Somalia, Sierra leone, Sudan, Chad etc.. A continent whose natural disasters are not cyclones, tempests, hurricanes and floods should deal with preventable disasters like war and diseases more seriously to reduce on the life expectancy.

Without risking to misrepresent what these words mean, i will ask a question. Where does ones career relate professionally?

In developing countries, because of the cancer of unemployment, its so common to find many people pursuing careers that they are not professionally trained at. What you will find is an intertwin of disciplines. To have a profession not neccesarily a commensurate one suffices for a job. Social relations are by far a key deter, minant. Can this phenomenon in a way be affecting negatively the growth of our economies? Or this situation equally exists in the west.

PRESS FREEDOM AND MORALITY

I will begin this post with a rhetoric question. How does press freedom and morality relate in journalism? The reason is because many media houses have replaced morality for media freedom in order to stay afloat in the market. How ridiculous this is.

Dr. Nancy Price is the executive director of for the children's sake foundation. She shares a vision with many that Africa's crisis can only be solved by Africans themselves but this is not all. Her organisation uses a bibilical world view strategy to train African teachers because they are great impactors of students lives

Blue print African politics is such difficult to predict especially if you are a Western scholar because as soon as you are about to understand, it will in a nick of time defy your logic.
The leaders once in power never dream of leaving power not even at the fair result of an election result for the case of Kenya and lately Zimbabwe
