North Korea vs South Korea

In the chain of events that have unfolded over the course of history is it wise for us to get involved with the political rivalry between these two countries. Do you think South Korea stands a chance without our help. How do you seriously feel about our ability to help South Korea with our current state of economic affairs. Do you think the President will do something to help South Korea, should we get involved? Is there any real control we have over the decisions that are made in regards to providing help to South Korea, or are we just the people?
