Breaking SPL Transfer News

Celtic are supposedly still interested in securing the services of Spartak Moscow striker Roman Pavlyuchenko. Boss Gordon Strachan was looking at the 26 year old Russian striker throughout Euro 2008 and is believed to still be interested. With Tottenham just having a £10M bid rejected though, it looks unlikely Pavlyuchenko will be moving to Glasgow.
Celtic are also lining up a loan deal for Roma's left back Vitorino Gabriel Antunes. With Lee Naylor looking certain to leave Parkhead this summer, a left back is high on Gordon Strachan's transfer list.
Both Celtic and Rangers are interested in signing former Celtic player Shaun Maloney from Aston Villa, however they face competition from Sunderland. It is believed Celtic have offered Lee Naylor to Villa as a part exchange.
Hamburg left-back Timothee Atouba has expressed interest in a move to Celtic, however the Parkhead club have made no offer.
Uganda manager Laszlo Csaba is on Vladimir Romanov's shortlist to take on the vacant managerial position at Hearts.
Kenny Milne is set to leave Falkirk with St Mirren and several English clubs expressing interest in the defender.
