A new section in the Orble Menu of each blog has been created called "Breaking Orble Posts".
This section is for Posts about "Breaking" news or events.
You can read more about it on this post.
To submit a post to be listed in the Breaking Orble Posts section use the Breaking Posts Blog. Be sure to read the Posting Guidelines.
Thanks,
Jon.

Humour me, I'm a bit confused about the Breaking Posts feature.
I have just submitted a post, which I feel meets the guidelines, and have done so for the last 2 posts on my site.
When creating the post (on Breaking Posts site) I noticed that the last 3 posts were all mine yet....when I look to my right, I see all these posts in the 'Breaking Orble Posts' column that are not in the Breaking Posts blog archives.
Am I making any sense?
Do you ultimately decide which posts are considered Breaking worthy?
Or is there another way to make a post a Breaking Post?

Hi Dusk,
The breaking posts blog is just a suggestion box which Charles then goes through. The vast majority of the posts which are put on the breaking posts blog are made breaking posts.
We do sometimes pick out posts to break which are not in the breaking posts blog if we think they will do well with a bit of extra search engine kudos. This is a fairly random process though. If you definitely want a post "broken" then you do need to put it in the breaking posts blog.
These are the general guidelines we use to determine if a post should be broken or not.
Jon.

I did read the Breaking Post guidelines before I 'broke' a post.
My first Breaking Post was broken for me...now I know how!
(The Wallabies New Jersey for RWC 07)
I feel that the posts I had/have nominated met the guidelines and I did see my latest post in the Breaking Posts column today.
So all the Fashion.org posts are Breaking Posts?
Thank you for your time Jon.
