Cheats Brandy Custard

Love your Brandy Custard?
Well here it is;
You will need:
1x bottle of custard
A few drops of Brandy or Brandy Essence
Mixing bowl
Egg beater or fork
What to do:
There are a couple of ways of doing this:
You can just open the bottle of custard and tip a small amount out (perhaps only 10mls)
Add a few drops of brandy (or Brandy essence).
Replace lid and shake very well
That’s it done!
OR
Pour the custard into a mixing bowl.
Add a few drops of brandy (or Brandy essence).
Mix well until ingredients are blended.
That’s it done!
Technical info:
The quantity of brandy is determined with personal taste. I recommend you add a few drops at a time and mix very well, then add more until you have the correct taste.
You could use sherry, Port or Muskat instead.
I prefer Dairy Farmers Custard, it seems lighter and I think its gluten free.
This recipe goes very well with my cheats Christmas pudding.
