America, what happend?

The government controls one of the biggest companies ever to exists in the United States of America and there is no outrage on the streets. The government is spending tax payer money on companies that continually fail to meet the needs of consumer and yet no one cares. American taxes are reaching higher and higher and yet the government keeps spending. What is the solution to this massive governmental power grab? Conservatism, true limited government conservatism, is the answer. Large entities have problems associated with them, try calling customer support about your phone or television problem and see what happens. If an organization that needs people to by their product to survive has bureaucracy standing in the way of great customer service how can we expect the federal government, who has customers regardless if they want to be or not, to have a better solution?
The free market weeds out a lot of problems that exists in a company. For example, Pets.com went under because at the end of the day if your pooch is out of dog food 3-5 business days is not going to feed an empty stomach. The company had problems and the free market forced the company to close. True the loss of jobs is a bad thing, and the loss of tax revenue and general spending from those individuals hurts the economy but those individuals can find jobs elsewhere. To go off a bit on jobs, jobs exist of those who have skills employers are looking for but they may not be in the location that the person wished to be in. Living three hours away from Boston as I do it would be hard to get a job in Braintree Massachusetts as it would be a long commute, I would have to move. I would need to way my options as to the viability of a move and determine if it would be right for me. To say there are not jobs just is not true. The statement should be, there are no jobs for my level of income I am accustomed to near my current location. Jobs are out there and yes, a person may need to take a pay cut but some money is better than no money. The free market is a system that has give and take. One loss job here is another opportunity somewhere else. America is saying lets throw out centuries of economic success by not allowing the economy do what it always has done. Look at Amtrak, Amtrak has been bailed out by the government many times but it is now thriving because it is a cheap form of transportation. If the company was allowed to fail could a more efficient rail travel immerge? We may never no because of how the government handles its affairs.
General Motors declaring bankruptcy is a good thing based on what the free market teaches us, however, the President Obama’s restructuring of the company is not. Why is Obama and the congress meddling with issues they know nothing about? A business is not government. A business is run for profit and provides goods and services at the lowest possible cost. The government used taxes are revenue so it does not need to peddle a product there for can do anything it wants to the general public, because people elect incumbents overwhelmingly and there for people don’t care about how there lives such as long as there is no change. Change is bad apparently but being jobless isn’t as bad. Vote out bad politicians that want to control your life and elect those who want to let you run your life as you see fit. Limited government equals greater growth and greater potential. And Remember Stay Casual……
