Brand New Crowded House album
After a long week of rumours and innuendo, the rumours are true. Crowded House are getting back together for not only a world tour but a brand new album! I have to admit I am really excited...I love nearly every song of Crowded House's..my fave Crowded House song is a toss up between 'Don't Dream its over' and 'Now We're Getting Somewhere'....but there are soo many good Crowded House songs.
Anyway enough on my obsession with Crowded House... The so called Mufti of Australia re entered the country this morning after a what I would call 'spreading hatred of Australia, Australians and their women" holiday in Egypt, thats where he said that Muslims have more right to Australia then any other religion living in Australia and he reinterated he comments about immodestly dressed women...remember? Now this time Lakemba mosque, if you really understand what the majoirty of the Australian community want then sack him. I certainly hope that he doesn't stand for the seat of Lakemba at the State Election in March which hurts me to say that because most members of the Muslim community are wonderful people who work hard and try to do the right thing by Australia but its people like Al Hilaly who give the Muslim community a bad name.
No sooner did President Bush beg his congress colleges to give the war in Iraq and the the new plan a chance, a US Senate panel has rejected the new plan which would see 21,000 more US troops sent to Iraq. The Democrat dominated Senate Foreign Affairs committee dismissed the new plan in a 12 to 9 vote claiming it was "not in the US's national interest". This resolution now means it goes to a full Senate vote, one reporter says if key senators on both sides rebuff the new plan then it would be too difficult to ignore in the White House.
Anyway thats all for now so tata cyaz
