Brain Training: Programming Yourself for Success

January 10th 2009 02:24
Recently I have been study one of my idol's; Tony Robbins. An internationally known motivational speaker.

I come to the conclusion that one of the best ways I feel I can help any band, musician or artist reach their goal and accomplish their dreams, is to pass on a message that many motivational speakers have spent centuries trying to tell the world.

Lets start with a simple analogy.

You use a computer, right? Of course you do, or how would you be reading this blog.

Think about the computer you are using. Would you agree with this statement?

"A computer is a complex machine that is programmed to do what is asked of it..."

Thats easy to agree with, right?

Now lets twist that statement a bit.

"The Human Brain is a complex machine that is programmed to do what is asked of it..."

Do you still agree with the statement?

I know plenty of people, and have argued with many of them over this statement. The brain can't be programmed just like a computer can. There's no possible way, they tell me.

They fail to believe that there is any possibility of programming their own brains, either because it just seems to 'weird' or because they are afraid of what that might mean.

And what that might mean, is that if the brain is programmable, than they are just failing at life because they choose too, and not be cause of some unstoppable force that says the have too.

I find that anyone who gets into an agrument with me because they 'Can't' do something, will always be on the losing end of the debate in my mind. There should never have been such a word as 'Can't' invented.

The truth is that 'Cant' really means 'Wont'. There are only a few exceptions, such as; A parapalegic can't stand. But even that has been proven to be wrong if the parapalegic has enough persistance and desire to walk or stand again.

Anything, anyone and any challenge can be over come, if you want it, Bad Enough.

Thats the truth to anything in life, if you don't really want it, than you'll never succeed at getting it. Even if you have convinced yourself consciously that you want it, if you really don't, your subconscious will sabatoge your plans.

The trick is to Train Your Brain (TYB). In order to TYB, you have to open your mind and stop feeling 'silly' about personal growth. As a professional, as a family member, as a significant person in this world, you have all the right in the world to want to be the best person you can be.

Self afirmations, incantations, and motivational phrases are a must trying TYB.

The true start has to come from somewhere deep in side you that is determined to be happy. Its not about sucess or failure, its not about winning or losing. Its about YOU.

Its about wanting to be happy, for yourself and everyone around you. Its about KNOWING that you CAN do and there is no such thing as CAN'T. Only Won't.

I urge you to take the time to study the many paths to personal growth. I find as a business woman, a wiccan, a mother and a lover, than finding new ways to grow as a person has helped me step over more hurdle, over come more challenges, and reach new heights more than anything else I could have ever tried.
