Brain, Computers, Family interactions

MS Paint image - What do you see?
Well balanced with hidden meaning

Playing together means being together not just simply in the same
room, house or garden.

Computer Art encourages brain activity and leads to an increase in Computer Literacy.

It can also lead to some very funny views and ideas. No-one is right, no-one is wrong. It's all about enjoying company and having fun.

Being together around a computer does not mean sitting there for a long time.

It involves a certain amount of physical activity, pointing, trying, changing places, helping one another.

A time can be set for how long the activity is going to go on for.

Then, all can engage in some physical activity together. It is an ice breaker.

During difficult times it can open up the opportunity for meaningful discussion and break down some of those communication barriers that can exist in families.

Reading one of the other blogs I accepted that with growing problems of obesity too much time spent on sedentary tasks is not good.

The family can move outside and play with balls, skipping ropes, chase the dog, ....whatever. If there is no garden, the local park may be the place to go.

All of these activities help to maintain good health and preserve brain function.

We don't want the older members of our community to feel isolated and
left behind because they are lacking in computer skills.

If you want a really good laugh and to be absolutely challenged look at some of the comments received for these images.

Also look at the sensitive, perceptive comments that have been received.

I was very agreeably surprised.

The more views, the greater the learning experience. Meanwhile, I am challenged to adapt to a different paint program and continue to come up with suitable images.

I'd like to do some especially for children and the beginner.

Although they will look ridiculously easy they will not be easy for
the very young, the very old and those new to the activity.

They will not be intended to teach the craft, just to set the experience in motion.

Activities for children should be age and developmentally suitable. When playing with them this will be apparent and those older members will find
they must take the initiative in not allowing a child to feel ridiculed or deficient.

Encouragement and praise are the keys to success.

My next blog will definitely include some information about the Brain itself.

It was good to see you visiting and letting me know your views.

I'll be following up other related blogs as I identify them.

For my other blog I shall attempt to target those interested specifically in brain processes and with that
blog the focus is more than a little different. But each blog features computer art images using a very
simple paint program available in most software packages as a free extra. I believe it can also be
downloaded for free.

I look forward to communicating again with you. Many thanks katyzzz
