Best Bowl Game: Fiesta Bowl. The game between Stanford and Oklahoma State proved to be the best of the bowls. The Cowboys rallied to defeat Stanford thanks to a couple of missed field goals in overtime. The Rose Bowl, and Alamo Bowls are right behind. Oregon topping Wisconsin by seven points and all the points scored in the Alamo Bowl are something to marvel at. Baylor scored 67 points in the Alamo Bowl setting a new bowl game record and, beating Washington who scored 56. This record lasted a few days until the Orange Bowl
when West Virginia scored 70 points.
Worst Bowl Game:Tie. BCS Title game and orange bowl. Who would of known that West Virginia would score 70 points in a game, wow. Then last nights game pitting LSU against Alabama was horrible. The Tide dominated LSU en route to a 21-0 victory. These games rank just higher then the New Mexico Bowl which started the bowl season off way back on Dec. 17th. Temple whipped Wyoming, 37-15 in this game.
Notable Conference Records: Big 12 6-2
Conference USA 4-1
Mid-American 4-1, were the top conferences.
SEC 6-3
Big Ten 4-6
PAC 12 2-5
ACC 2-6
Mountain West 2-3
Top Player in Bowl Games: Geno Smith West Virginia. Hard to top his six touchdowns in winning fashion. Washington quarterback Keith Price is right behind after accounting for seven touchdowns for the Huskies four through the air and three on the ground, yet the team fell apart at the end.
