Boomers: Bring on the Dream Team

It took them two games to finally warm to the occasion, but I'm glad to say I'm enjoying the Australian Men's attitude in the Olympics at the moment. Between an easy victory over Russia and now, just hours ago, a massive victory over long time rivals Lithuania, it's nothing but smiles in the Boomers camp.
The 106 to 75 thrashing of the group A leaders means that, no matter what happens in the final group matches, Australia will face either the US or Spain in the quarter-finals. Win or lose there, the Aussies have proven themselves to the rest of the world by defying expectations.
It'll be a tough ask, no doubt, for Bogut and the crew to win a medal, but there are so many positives that can be taken out of this run. Besides the wins over two European powerhouses, having come back from 0-2 to reach the next round (ironically, much like China in the other group) is something to be proud of.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens next. But if I were the rest of the competition ... I'd be a little worried about how good the Boomers really are.
