Bodyguard RECORD First Day Territorial Breakdown
Bodyguard broke all records on day one with 21.25 crore nett. All circuits were a record apart from Tamil Nadu/Kerala. The territorial breakdown is a s follows

This earth shattering opening of Bodyguard makes Salman Khan as the undoubted No1 superstar of Bollywood well ahead of SRK and Aamir Khan. This is not soley based on the opening of Bodyguard but it is true that his last 3 movies Dabangg, Ready and now Bodyguard have all set new standards in terms of Box Office collections. But lets not forget that SRK has science fiction movie RA.1 yet to be released as well as Don 2 which possess the curiosity package. aamir Khan is also not far behind with Yash Chopra's banner Dhoom 3 scheduled for 2012!
Bodyguard Opening Delhi City: Earth Shattering
Bodyguard was always expected the challenge the opening day figures of Dabangg of around 14.50 crore nett but with the mind boggling opening and the holiday factor it is challenging the highest day ever.
Dabangg collected 18 crore nett on its first Sunday and with half the day gone that figure is under threat for the first day of Bodyguard.
It is difficult to put an exact number to the first day this early but its likely to be biggest day ever and even 20 crore nett cannot be ruled out. It will definitely emerge the biggest opening day by a long distance.
Bodyguard: Phenomenal Day One In Kanpur
Bodyguard has smashed all record in Kanpur by collecting nearly 19 lakhs from the city. Dabangg had collected 14 lakhs on day one. The day one figures from Kanpur are as follows.

New Releases Very Dull Not A Love Story Poor
The new releases Chitkabrey - Shades Of Grey, Shabri, Stand By and Yeh Dooriyan were all very dull. To put into perspective how bad they are is that last week Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande had an awful weekend of 30 lakhs but none of the releases this week are likely to collect even 15 lakhs.
Chatur Singh Two Star was very poor with around 2.50 crore nett in week one. DISASTER
Not A Love Story had a poor first week of around 3.50 crore nett. FLOP
Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande had a disastrous first week of 50 lakhs approx. DISASTER
Aarakshan drooped in week two except Delhi/UP as it collected 8.50 crore nett in its second week taking its two week total to 37 crore nett. FLOP

Aarakshan Falls Badly RA.ONE Awaited
Aarakshan fell in week two and will finish with a poor $1.6 million total (7.25 cr). The figures from major markets till date are as follows.
