Blog Traffic Issue: Solving Tips
According to weblog every minute 10,000 Blog published on the net. There are already millions of existing blog crawling all over the net. Many of them are very high profile blog, have more than 20-30 thousands page view per day. All the blogger face traffic issue at the beginning of their quest, that’s true like the sun. You have done the homework on blog ethics, parts, you even have gifts to be creative but when you start blogging for first time dam getting traffic is hard. No matter how successful a blogger is he/she have to admit at the beginning traffic used to be a serious head spin for them.
Hits or reader
You might have noticed in the net there are nearly few thousand entity/organization who’s business are providing hits in exchange of fees. But certainly the question arise, in a blog we need just hits or readers? In my personal experience I have taught a blog need readers not some 15-30 seconds page views. Doesn’t matter you are blogging for money or fun or fame. “Readers” –the essential element all blogger logging for. Most of the organization who offer traffic, provide you with thousands of hits in your blog site (some are just traffic-bot visit, some just traffic exchange). I had the misunderstanding when I started blogging, that if my blog have enough hits I will gain popularities and revenue. But after trying almost few hundreds of those top most traffic/hits program, had to realize the ultimate truth that I need readers not hits.
So how a blogger can get readers more efficiently without wasting time?
In one of my earlier post I had mentioned that SEO (search engine optimization) take time even well built, search engine friendly, keyword populated blog took 4-8 weeks to get well indexed by search engine. So patience is the virtue of a professional blogger. So if a blogger wants to attain good and loyal reader he/she should understand/follow these steps:
Demography: Identify for who you are writing. Knowing your reader is a big advantage to gain popularity and loyalty of reader. Not only the type of reader try to understand their region, sex, age range etc. Which will put you step ahead to understand their needs and taste, so that you can write exactly what they want/like.
SEO: Do the SEO things as I mentioned in SEO tips posts. Don’t expect to get awesome response in a short period, will take some times but surely it will come.
Interactivity: Try to make our blog as much interactive as possible. Adding related media (picture, video), Voting, Shoutebox, Forum, quizzes so many way you can bring interactive features in your blog. You will be shocked to know even responding to your blogs comments is a major interactive response.
Momentum: Keep momentum of your blog flowing. Let your readers know when to expect new posts. Make your blog regular (even if it’s not daily but in a regular interval) and keep it going. Even search engine loves momentum, so it will be a bad move if you loose momentum in your blog.
Community: Even if your own blog isn’t a community, try to blog in as many community blog as you can. I blog in almost 5 community blog, and always get reader in my own blog from those (a lots of them).
These steps are not hard to follow. You can’t even imagine how much reader/cash it can give you after a certain time. Keep it rolling; keep it neat that is blogging.
