Blog Email Subscriptions have now been folded into Blog Followers.

This means that when someone signs up for an email subscription to your blog, they will be included in the "follower" count.

Traffic emails will provide a breakdown of follower numbers including total followers, and followers who also subscribe via email.

I've tried to make it as easy as possible for passers-by to sign up as well. I'll keep an eye on the numbers to see if it makes any difference.

Jon I thought if you followed a blog it just came up when you filtered by the inbox tab, rather than getting emails like normal subscription? I'm getting emails when new posts are made and I'd rather not, I just want to be able to browse through the writers I like.

Michaelie -- you have the option of receiving notification emails (or not) if you follow a blog. Click on the "E" next to the blog's name to turn off the email notifications.

Jon, I currently have it supposedly set to not send me emails. If I click on the E it says I will now receive email notifications - which I am already getting.

I think it's happening with all of the blogs I follow. The most recent ones I've had notification from are Vyoos, Salty Popcorn, The Social Critic, Deep Pencil, Movie Train, 20/20 Filmsight, Horrorphile, Screen Fanatic, Consumption Malfunction, Zoomies...

guys, all well and good but how come it's been a week since my subscribers have gotten e-mail notifications when I post? Not acceptable. Can someone fix this please?

Jon, can I ask a question. Do you know if Orble ever lets go of domain names? I tried for a few months to have GoDaddy contact Orble to buy the domain (sportramble.com) that I use and nobody ever got back to them. Is there someone I can contact? Does Orble allow it,etc..?
