Blog domains hijacked !!

Well it's not quite that bad. We introduced another server to the Orble machine and a few domains (61) were moved to the wrong server! You will know it this has happened to you because a page will be displayed saying "Firerocket" or something similar.

This is being fixed as we speak and all the domains should be working properly again within the hour.

Again, sorry for any inconvenience.

On the upside we now have 5 Orble servers which should take quite a load so hopefully things will settle down.

I can see that it would have been quite a shock. About half the domains have been moved back now. The rest should be done fairly soon.

Ditto Hope, especially after I tried every combination I could think of with and without 'www' and 'dot net' and 'dot com'. Then I decided it was either another server problem or a big hint for me to go play somewhere else. Does anyone else see paranoia there?

A slight paranoia

but very endearing.

All the domains should be working now.

There is a slight problem with image uploads on the new servers but I think I have it fixed and will upload the code soon.

Would this of had anything to do with the 403 errors I was getting?

I didn't mind, It was late at night, during a time when sane humans, or just average humans sleep, I pretty much guessed it was something to do with server maintanance...

403 errors - I don't think that would be related. You are not still getting them?

No, it was really late at night (4/5am I think)... If I was still getting them I wouldn't be able to come on orbleright now...
