Birth Certificate Trumps Bully

Disclaimer: I refuse to discuss politics in any way shape or form.
Anyway, when something of such importance and bombshell-ness is shoved in my already politically stupefied face, as the release of Obama's long-form birth certificate, I must vent. And who do we have to thank for this historical event? Donald Trump? Really Donald really! Are you "really proud of yourself, really honored" and have you "accomplished something really really important?" Your humility is mind-blowing. In the words of Obama "let's put this silliness to rest." But first The Donald says he has to examine the birth certificate to insure it's authenticity. Huh?
So now Mr. Trump can add birth-certificate authenticating expert to his resume? That'll get him my vote. When I think of who I would like to be my next commander-in-chief Donald Trump is on the "are you @$#&ing kidding me?!" list.
All this hullabaloo has got me thinking about my own birth-cert. Several years ago I needed my certificate of live birth to get my passport. My mother not being much of an organizer, did not have it tucked away in a locked filing cabinet. I had to go down to the government vital records place and wait for hours to get it. Much to my surprise my name was nowhere on said certificate. I was listed only as "unnamed female". What? I felt like a nobody. I started questioning my own existence. Was I really born?
That flimsy piece of paper could have belonged to anyone.
So when they told me in order to get my given name written on it I had to bring in a witness to prove I was who I said I was, and that I could actually choose any name I wanted. Hmmm . . . for a split-second I thought about changing my name to something unique or exotic. Maybe something like Barack. Then I came to my senses. I was who I was and that was who I would be.
OK back to the subject of weighty importance. Mr. Trump is nothing more than a school yard bully. But Because he is "The Donald" he seems to get away with it. This whole "birther" issue is simply a red herring. Donald—as well as others—wants to put the focus on Barack rather than himself. The fact is that if he were to throw his own hat in the presidential election ring, his hair would go with it, and we might see the ugly truth underneath that red hair-ring. Oh yes I went there. Seriously If he became president and was delivering the State of the Union Address, his words would be silenced by the deafening noise from that comb-over-up-under-sideways screaming on top of his head.
I am not a fan of Obama either and I think this has been a welcomed distraction on his part as well. He says he wants to stop wasting time and focus on the important issues, well then just do it. Please, say good night to this silliness.
I am a fan of anti-bullying though. I don't care who's doing the bullying or who's being bullied. There is zero tolerance for bullying in my world. So take that Mr. Trump. Now that the certificate has been beaten out of the presidential vault of vital records, move along, nothing to see here. Proof positive that Mr. Obama is a born and raised citizen of the good old U.S. of A.
Unless . . . he was an "unnamed male" and he really isn't who he says he is and decided he wanted to become Barack Hussein Obama after the fact. That flimsy piece of paper could belong to anyone. Oh no here we go again!
