I woke up happier today, thank god!
I couldn't think of anything to do this morning, so I went back through some of my stuff and found some clothes, books, games and computer equipment that I no longer needed, so I took them to another local charity and donated them, plus a small amount of cash.
Then I bought a game, a couple of books, and some magazines. My sister loves National Geographic magazines, so I got them for her.
There's something else I'm going to do for her: there are some really nice notebooks you can buy that she just adores, so I'm going to buy her two; one to use as a notebook, and in the other one I will write a little inspirational quote or something similar on each page. Her life is often quite hard, so I hope that will help lighten her mood a bit
