Best possible army - Vampire Wars

The state of play... Feel free to send me corrections if this is wrong, but I think this is the possible set-up, if money is no object. So this is the ridiculous best. Hopefully no-one has anything close to this...

Offensive

Attack: total of 68,170

1 x Chuck Kuk Do (250/0) -- Internet Memes Akem's set
1 x Soif de Sang (225/50) -- Paris missions
1 x Yarost (225/50) -- Russian missions
1 x Apocalypse (200/50) -- Four Horsemen event
1 x Mandy's Curse (200/50) -- Mandyland
1 x Channel Le Grand Zombi (200/50) -- New Orleans
1 x Psychopomp (150/50) -- Death Gods Akem's set
1 x Tame Werewolf (150/50) -- Anti-Werewolf Akem's set
1 x Flames of Liberty (150/50) -- New York
492 x Love -- (135/75) -- Lucifer special event

Defense: total of 37,600

1 x Psychopomp (150/100) -- Death Gods Akem's set
500 x Love (135/75) -- Lucifer special event

Defensive

(Excluding Voice of the Masses (200/200), which you get for dobbing in a loophole to Zynga)

Attack: total of 29,060

1 x Resist Charms (60/120) -- from installing toolbar
500 x Promote Pride (58/91) -- normal LE ability

Defense: total of 75,150

1 x Epic Circle of Warding (50/150) -- Undead Legends event
500 x Summon Death or Summon Famine (25/150) -- Four Horsemen event

Movement

Attack: total of 75,150

501 x Call of the Wild (150/50) -- Red Friday sale

Defense: total of 35,070

501 x Animate Skeletons (70/70) -- Paris missions

Total attack/defense: 172,380/147,820

I suppose one thing that this reflects is that it's normally going to be a lot easier to attack someone than defend against them -- there's a lot more good attack abilities available -- though obviously it's going to depend on what your stats are (and whether you're doing Arena or old-school combat).

In contrast, the best-buyable-from-bazaar "golden army" -- 501 x Horrific Transformations (62/58), Imperviouses (38/44), Flights (60/58) -- would give you 80,160/80,160 (yep, your attack and defense attributes come out exactly the same!).

you´ve done some mistakes ...

if you attack, theire will be used the 501 ability with highest attack but the defense stats of this ability also included.

if you defend a fight, theire will be used the 501 ability with highest defense but attack stats also included.

for example if you defend and have more than exact 501 ability, Chuck Kuk Do will never be used.

thats why i "cleaned out" my abilitys by sending crap some to a dummie account.

another example if you have 501 pyrokinesis ability with 55/15 and 501 vampire lord ability with17/18, you´d have by attacking a vamp a score of 35070 only at the attack abilities, but if you defending you only have 17535.

hope you get what you mean, i´m not the best in english

Dear Anon, I do appreciate the comment, and you're right -- my post might be misleading. I'll just say three things in reply.

-- With standard combat, you might be right, but I think no one knows for sure. (For a slightly different formula to the one you've proposed, check out this link.) All that anyone really knows is what Amalia says at the forum.

-- With Arena combat, I think you might be wrong, since the formula for this is known (and just involves the best attack attributes when you're attacking, best defense when you're defending).

-- Assuming your formula is correct for standard combat, how would your list differ from the one above?

Well, I'm going to give you a lazy answer. It actually happened not too long ago. Either during the Russia missions or just after them. It was simply a Friday where Zynga offered a lot of abilities (and packages of abilities) for cheap, trying to get more money out of us.

You didn't miss anything -- trust me.

i know about the link you posted for the standart combats. i only took the important piece out of that, cause you only talked about abilities, not about the hole math

your list would be really the best, but only if you´re attacking somebody.

if you are the defender you must have exactly these 501 abilities, otherwhise theire would be used every offensiv abilitie insteed of Chuck Kuk Do and thats the problem of this ability, cause of it´s 0 points on defense.

i see 2 ways to manage this:
1st way would be having ecaxt 501 abilties not 1 more, but you have to send all the time the recieved abilties from combat to a dummie account (like i do it)

2nd way would be having your list of abilities for attacking and look up which one would be the best used abilties if somebody is attacking you. don´t checked this out but i think you´ll have this way less points than using ecaxt your list of best abilties.

excluding the skillpoints and only look at the abilties try to explain again what i want you and all the others to know, if you don´t get it like i meant:

attackers
501 pyrokinesis
501 vampire lord
score of 35070

defender
501 pyrokinesis
501 vampire lord
score of 17535

so the attacker will winning the fight, cause if you´re defending vampire lord ability will be used insteed of pyrokinesis, but if the defender is attacking, he would win ...


so without saving exactly using 501 abilities all the time, you have to expansion your list, until you´re sure not using a crap ability like vampire lord insteed of Chuck Kuk Do, while defending.

don´t think everybody feel like sending thousands of abilities to a dummie account every day ^^

(if you do the mission with the best exp/energy ratio, you´ll also get mass of command a ratswarm abilitie, but don´t know if they will be used, cause i don´t have this Chuck Kuk Do abilitie)

and i can´t post you which abilities you had to choose for defending, cause i´m only use what i get and send the worst ability away xD

im an VW addict and also im collecting abilities but to sad i cant complete them...do you have links with free abilities so i can collect them thanks also i have a question...while im collecting abilities does the effect stack up with same multiple abilitities?

Compounding on what anon said, and using your own link, the best abilities to have defensively would be the ones with the highest totals, period.

For example, in your defensive, you have 1x Resist Charms and 500x Promote Prides attacking ([120 60] [58 91]*500 = 74680), but the best attacking abilities to have would ACTUALLY be 1x Resist Charms, 1x Epic Circle, and 499x Summon Death/Famine ([60 120] [50 150] [25 150]*499 = 87705) because you'd be attacking with a higher combat number.

Of course, forcing your abilities to allow you to attack as such wouldn't be easy (downright impossible for defensive, I'm sure), but that's the ideal best.

Oh, Hope is actually better than all of those, so 501 Hopes becomes the best, but the idea is the same.

Switching to the movements, instead of 501 Animate Skeletons (total 140), Calls are better defensively as well since they are total 200. You just have to dump all movement abilities with higher D than 50 to force that.

Okay Rookies I Been playing this Game Since 2007..First Starting on Myspace..And its as simple as this...When Attacking You Only use the highest possible attack point..That Is Att on Att...Att On Def...And Attack On Movment...When Being Attacked..U Only Use the highest Defense Point...Ect...Highest Defense...Highest Def On Att..And Highest Def On Movement..And For The Record.. The Calculation Of Ability Points Only Come Into The Factor After Your..Att/Def Points Match Up To An Oppenant..Which makes That the deciding Factor...If u have 10,000 att...And 10,000 Def...And your oppenant Has 9,500 att And 9,500 Def...Doesnt mattter What your abilities are The one with the highest skill points Will Win...Now if It came down to say..9,999 Att And 9,999 Def...And fighting The higher above, the abilities would become A Factor As its so close...I Have already shared enough and will not argue With Morons Who dont realize The Combat Formula..But Thats How It Is..TRIED AND TRUE..Dumping Abilities?? Thats Ignorant U Will only fight with 501 of whats best When Attacking And 501 of whats best when defending..And U Dont have to Dump Anything...The game knows What Abilities Are The Best Choice..Damn Zynga Sux As They Dont Explain Anything...Atm Best Possible Combo Would Be To Have 501 Flesh Eater..Accept The ones higher then them such as Chuck...501...Create Homunculus Army...Or The ones Above that u wont have 501 of as they arent tradeable such As cutt thread of life..
