Before the world had television they had pagan cults and faith. This sort of placed the hamster on the wheel, however a lot more people wanted to discover using invention, mental psyche, and also magic! Yes, people before the 1900's were crazy on magic and the spiritual realm. In fact they stirred a fad which made ouiji boards a fast rising spectacle which every household wanted to try. People loved magic, and those who practised it grew up on drugs in order to grow an elevated mind. Before television people were gaining interests in psychic power, spiritual control, and levitation. But then they began to watch television and educate themselves, and they gave all these interests away in order to become 'the new modern person'.
