Be Strong, not Hard person
April 11th 2007 01:09
Today I found a good article that reflects the issue of strong people who goes through tough times. Sometimes when people faced too many things in life, they just close their hearts and stay away, for there was a popular saying, “Once bitten, twice shy”.
And when they do so, they expect others react the same. Many will do their best effort to protect others by encouraging to “walk away”, but not every situation can be done so. Sometimes, we need to face the obstacle and take it as a challenge to allow our inner-soul to grow.
Below is the article I wish to share with everyone, that when tough things happens to us, we challenge it with a positive heart, and never ever provoke the situation.
To Challenge and not to Provoke

We need to be strong-hearted to face the many difficult situations in life, but not hard-hearted where we do not feel concern for the sorrow of others.
We should be content by appreciating what we have in life, but not complacent about effort to improve ourselves.
There should be flexibility, tolerance and humility, but we should never compromise our principles or lose our integrity.
To be concerned but not to worry. Worry comes from fear, and worry never brings solutions. To be concerned is to care, but to care properly, I need to be clear-minded, free from fear.
To challenge, but not to provoke. For progress and positive change, we need to challenge ourselves and others to think, to act in new and different ways. To provoke is based on ridicule; it is non-productive. Ridiculing and deriding what others believe, or do, is destructive, never beneficial.
Thought for reflection:
When faced with a challenge, look for a way, not a way out.
Personal Note:
Have you been always looking for a way out? Have you always turned to another path of road when you face troubles?
True that you need to change of course when you face obstacles, but never forget to get back to the right track to continue your journey.
