I have to say, I have been there and have done that.

It causes tears and heartache to both parties. And in the end 10 years down the line of time they change back.

You can never change/mould/educate a person. They have to do it themselves, WITHOUT your help.

People do not change. If you cannot accept (100%accept) your partner JUST AS HE IS then it is time to find a different partner.

Harsh but true.

This is the end of my comment but below is a blatant push for a higher readership for my blog.

I know you feel like you are giving up, or not standing by your man or what not, but this guy is not only an idiot but also a loser!

Get out now!

There are so many better guys out there...read my blog - and get out from under his thumb!

Never before have women had equal money and power to men - and the ability to be treated the way we want!

You not only deserve to be treated like a princess but you also control how you are treated - if you tell him not to treat you badly then he cannot...second chances are for highway exits not abusive boyfriends!

I have to say, on behalf of the female population, thank you for the kind and very selfless offer to and I quote "help you out in your time of need.."

I have to say though, and many women would agree that once you do ask, and the man does "deliver" there seems to be a certain expectation that this will be repeated.

In reality many women are not keen to repeat or even initiate a one night stand for 1 reason (and it's not propriety)...I'm sorry to say but many of you (men) have no idea what you're doing and the time and training that it takes to bring you up to scratch is usually too long and so we just cannot be bothered.

But I think that you really have hit the nail on the head...On a date a man wonders whether he will have sex...a woman already knows.
