RJHH second season

October 5th 2006 12:49
The next installment of RJHH was just aired on channel 10.

The usually quality of sketches were aired along with a few new ideas, which were defiantly worth a laugh. They also bought back some old classic sketches from last season, which topped off tonight's episode.

One of the best skits that were played tonight was a new sketch to season 2. The actors played roman sport commentators who followed the 'Christan's vs lions' sporting event. The sketch also included a spin off of their 'Jesus' character who was been in several different sketches.

The chopper skit was one of the better this season, it follows chopper around the city pretty much telling people to "Harden the f#$k up". Although it was fairly brief, it was hilarious, "Heath" the actor who plays chopper did a brilliant job as usual. You should be able to catch the skit on YouTube.

Some of the content in tonights show will be up for download on the official RJHH website, if you missed tonight's show or want to see some of the show again. Keep watching, it only gets better.

Chopper and Zoo Weekly?

October 3rd 2006 22:32
Recently I discovered that 'Heath', the actor who plays Chopper in the Ronnie Johns Half Hour also has a column in Zoo Weekly. The column is pretty much made up of a small rant about anything you can picture 'Chopper' ranting about.

In all honesty, Chopper isn't as funny in text. Although the rants are a good read, it doesn't compare to the Chopper skits. If you are a die hard Chopper fan, it's defiantly worth checking out each week. Zoo Weekly is full of useful information you will most likely forget in a day or so.

Oh, and it has pictures of chicks.. On a serious note, it's one of the more entertaining Mags out in Australia.

Tomorrow the next installment of Ronnie Johns hits the air - Don't miss it!

The humor is still there.

September 21st 2006 13:47
After just watching tonight's episode of RJHH, I am relived to know that the show still hasn't lost its touch.

The timeslot doesn't seem to affect the quality of the humour in the show. The scenarios where hilarious, for anyone that missed it you can log onto the official website and catch some of the better clips from tonight's (and previous) show. It's good to see the fresh material has taken such a original place on channel 10.

Even though the chopper skit was a little dull, it still managed to make laugh. Heath (writer/actor/chopper impersonator) still has it, and brings the character to life with his sarcastic views on everyday life. I am positive the chopper skits are only going to get better.

The 'naughty lesbian' skit on tonight's show was hilarious, and the follow up skit which had heath explaining that lesbian jokes weren't funny, along side a sign that said something like "actually their hilarious" was topped off when he came out with "Oh?! lesbians can see?!" ... Yes, it's funnier to watch it rather than read it, but either way, the show is still alive and kicking.

Great show, DO NOT miss it next week!

(If you happen to be in a country that doesn't get the show on air - you can catch some of the clips on the official homepage.)
