Australia, you have been tested

A young life is destroyed by police - a fifteen year old man, obviously troubled, weilding knives, is gunned down in Victoria.
The similarities between this and the incident in Greece are startling, but with one difference - Australia did not succumb to anarchy. You know what, I dont think anyone has even noticed yet. But I have to ask you....
Do you believe in Them?
Forget conspiracy theories, forget paranoid nuts....Just think about it, for a moment, please. The population of the earth is being controlled in so many ways. Through information and news stories, through advertising and market research. We are being watched and our movements are being calculated. Even mine. Im the conspiracy nut no one will believe (until its too late)
I believe that there really is a society that controls the worlds population and tries to construct its movements. For so long now humanity has been a heard animal and stampedes from one place to another like a brontasaurus. With only the most marginal nudging. Hey, it could be the Smoking Man, it could be the Stone cutters - or the Masons- but thats not really important, the who. Or even the why.
Whats important is they lost it in Greece. Those magnificent Greek bastards knew what was happening, and they fought against it, as the only weapon is ANARCHY. Seeing how quickly it went bad, and the little control they had, they had to quickly test out other countries to see if anarchy had taken hold.
Police procedure warns against 'assisted suicide' of deranged young people. Australias police are too well trained to simply gun down a young man - even if he was armed with knives, and did not bow to capsicum spray, they still have the required hand to hand techniques to stop him without being hurt, and without hurting him too much.
Yet they gunned him down. Whammo. And They have their answer, for Australia has not gone to the streets in rage, we have not gone into looting and rioting mobs, indeed....Have failed to notice.
They win again.
