Australia Paying Too Much

It has been said that Australia has been paying for up to fourteen times more then the rest of the world. It is overpaying for everyday items like vegetables, fruit, and CD's. It is amazing how different the world would be if it were not selling at such high rates. But question? Why are there so much economy crisis around the world if people are paying so much less for their everyday items?
