Hindi calling…

My cousin was born and brought up in Dubai and is now pursuing his engineering from USA.
Recently when he came to India to visit us, we were pleasantly surprised to see how well he was conversing in hindi. It was actually sounding better than what we used to hear him say when he was in Dubai. So I asked him rather teasingly if he had found a new Indian girlfriend at college who could just converse in hindi?

‘No sis,’ Out came the secret, ‘It is just my roommate. He is from Pakistan and loves to watch bollywood movies. So he downloads all the latest hindi movies and I just have to watch!’

I think introducing oneself to the world is like self appreciation. You keep on saying all the good things about yourself, very cunningly overlooking the traits that are not so good. So it is better to let others talk about you....so that someone who does not know me, gets the real picture....
Ok...I'll start with the formal introduction...
I am Atula Gupta from India, married and a mother of a naughty little one year old boy. My days are spent looking after this mischivious son and using my spare time to write write and write. I really can't remember when I started writing or whether I will ever stop, because this is one passion that can go on for ever i believe whatever age you are....

My husband thinks I even keep writing when i am not using pen and paper...because sometimes when he says something my replies are hmmm...ok and he can see me actually looking blank. He is sure then that my mind's notepad is busily typing on something......and it is better to wait till I come back from the trance and tell him what i was thinknig about....

So a writer by all means....I am here welcoming you all to visit my blog and give me new ideas to write about....
