Ashley Hits Someone And Pays A Price

Ashley looked at the car park. It was an issue. It was so silent it gave her the creeps. She expected it to have walking wild animals hissing in the gaps in-between cars. It looked evil.
“Better get to the car;” Ashley muttered as she sucked in a breath.
Ashley began to walk. She walked further then her feet wanted to go. Her feet shuffled the earth and stones that paved the lot ground. It gave her chills. Ashley felt her heartbeat pump every second she spent. It made her feel all spooked out.
“Finally!” she gasped as she moved to the door, and then she unlocked it.
Ashley opened the door. She then pushed herself inside, and closed the door. Ashley smiled, and then she pushed the key into the slot. She turned it on. With a smile she began to reverse.
Ashley made a smooth drive out. She began to slowly move down the lane that led to the road. She felt good. She began to smile as she drove the car. She did so with eyes open as she shrugged the shivers from her shoulders. At the end of the lane Ashley stopped. She looked right, she looked left, then she smiled. She was ready to move.
Ashley moved for a moment, but the bump of rolling into a stranger made her gasp! Ashley shrieked as her car was thumped on by the fist of one of the peoples she had hit. She then feared as they raced to the side of the car like demons in order to speak to her.
“Open the window!” one of them steamed.
Ashley shivered and did so. As soon as the car window rolled down Ashley met the tip of a gun. It was pointed at her head. She gasped as she wet her pants.
“I'm sorry, I didn't see!” she gasped as she glared at the gun and began to sweat.
However that is all she got out before the door was abruptly opened, and her body flung out to hit the ground as feet trampled on her.
Ashley woke. As she did she groaned. She wasn't sure what had happened. She tried to move, but she felt so much pain she ended up rolling. She rolled onto her spine. The sky looked full of moon, and she rested as she panted through lungs that felt busted. Ashley wanted to give up on life. However a pair of boots came moving to her, and all she could do was tremble.
A harsh light was shone down on her, and Ashley felt her eyes narrow or squint. She saw the blonde beam she blanked out as she felt her last breath become aired. However she was not dead. When she woke she was in hospital, and had a nurse by her side. Ashley blinked, and the nurse gasped as she rushed up to her. The nurse began to excitedly explain her health issues as though they were Christmas items on a shopping list. Ashley wanted to groan, however she felt nothing wrong with her body. Everything was casted and felt warm, and she had no feeling other then an adrenalin rush which she suspected came from a dose of something that was used to reduce her pain. She felt good, even her heart was steady.
“I survived;” she thought as she looked to a fresh coat of paint on the ceiling.
It took two seconds for the nurse to tell her that she would be okay.
