We might soon have human like virtual agents answering our query, both online and on the phone.This technology is set to change the complete exp[experience of something as simple as ordering a pizza.
vReps or Virtual agents are actually bots or software applications that run automated tasks over the web.They can emulate the best as human being for online or telephone interface. CocoCola's Hank is an example of vRep, a chat bot .Its an IRC where Hank is responsible for matching your queries and respond you accordingly.  Why vReps can be successful ? 1.To minimize dis efficiencies and save costs. 2.Minimize training each and every person. 3.There is no personalization as customer gets to talk to different person every time. It sounds good at this moment but at this moment i really don't think its [possible.To an extent may be but its a long road to go . Some of the things they need to improve on are : 1.Natural Speaking Language. 2.Enhanced query. 3.High Database information. 4.Voice Recognition 5.Personilaztion.
