The Samsung Company is well know for their top qualities in personal appliances like: television, video, DVD’s, Laptop and Handset. In other to continue their existence in the world of cell-phone the Samsung F490 was introduce, which is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and a touch screen keyboard.
One would conclude that the Samsung F490 is a continuation of the Samsung F700, which also carries most features like its predecessor. The device has a thinkness of about 11.8mm with rounded curves and glossy surface, equipped with some nice features.
The entire front panel is governed by the The extra large 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen with 240 x 432 pixels resolution, leaving only a tiny gap bellow for the call and end knobs.
The phone handling is adequately facilitated by the haptic feedback, offering tangible assurance that the touchscreen has verified a procurer’s command. The device is also equipped with a 16:9 widescreen display that enable good quality picture, video player. The video player supports WMV, MPEG4, H.263, H.264 file formats in up to VGA resolution at 30fps.
Although the Samsung F490 is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with built-in LED flash, but lacks auto focus.
The device is also equipped with a camera that has the ability of recording MPEG4 clips with QVGA resolution at 15 fps. Saving lovely video files, music and protriats is stress free with the 130 MB on-board memory and slot for microSD cards.
The Samsung F490 has also some good stuff for the music users because it features a 3.5mm audio jack. The Bluetooth of the Samsung F490 supports A2DP profile, procurers will be able to listen to music on wireless stereo headsets.
