The article marketing test conclusions
January 19th 2008 20:26
I am nearing the end of the ninety-day article-marketing test, it has been several days since my last update. The upside is the site has received six hundred and thirty three visitors. The downside is the income from the sites ppc has dropped to about twenty-five percent of original.
The site has produced seven e-book sales at twenty-one dollars, but the earnings per click has dropped my expectations greatly. The click price has reduced to a mere twelve cent per unit average, this fact has lowered my expectations on this acne skin care mini-site's monthly revenue generating abilities.
The income for the last thirty days on this site is thirty-six dollars and seventy-two cents. I still consider the article marketing traffic method successful, although the niche may be too crowded to rank quickly as I do not plan an extensive linking campaign at this time.
My next test will be using Web 2.0 techniques as a comparison to article directory promotions, hopefully it will prove useful.
