Are you ready for the Olympics? (LINK)
September 15th 2007 21:40
I have been teaching English to Chinese students for many
years. Who better to give some tips and pointers on
things to do and see in Beijing as well as what to say
and how to ask for things of interest. We can
discuss things as varied as how to find certain
Olympic venues or how to ask about the post office or
even the lavatory. I have travelled between the US
and China a couple of times and I plan to make the
trip again soon. I would like to give the forum
members the benefit of my experience.
We can talk about such things as how to order a meal
in Chinese. Or, since many Americans have a sweet
tooth, I can tell you something about Chinese desserts
and candies
