Are you one of the 2%

January 10th 2009 07:49
2% or 98% of Population?

Just follow these instructions, and answer the questions one at a time and as quickly as you can! Again, as quickly as you can but don't advance until you've done each of them .... really. Now, scroll down (but not too fast, you might miss something).

THINK of a number from 1 to 10

MULTIPLY that number by 9

If the number is a 2-digit number, ADD the digits together

Now SUBTRACT 5

DETERMINE which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number you ended up with (example: 1=a, 2=b, 3=c,etc.)

THINK of a country that starts with that letter

REMEMBER the last letter of the name of that country

THINK of the name of an animal that starts with that letter

REMEMBER the last letter in the name of that animal

THINK of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter

Are you thinking of a Kangaroo in Denmark eating an Orange?

Isn't that FREAKY!! If not for you, you're among the 2% of the population whose minds are different enough to think of something else. However, 98% of people will answer with kangaroos in Denmark eating oranges when given this exercise.

actually Jason i just realised im in the 2% of people who cant add haha

all multiples of 9 added together equal 9, so at the very least i should be starting on the same letter

oh well, lets just call my bad mathematics my little eccentricity!

LOL Morgan- thanks for the laugh!!
If you started on the same letter it is likely you would have ended in the 98%.

Wiki provided the following as the only countries to start with the letter D - I was thinking Dhekelia - but thought Denmark was nicer - LOL. Never heard of half of them.

So to become a 2%er people - remember these countries!!
Denmark - Kingdom of Denmark
Dhekelia - Dhekelia Sovereign Base Area (overseas territory of the United Kingdom)
Djibouti - Republic of Djibouti
Dominica - Commonwealth of Dominica
Dominican Republic (sometimes also rendered as The
Dubai

Ok, I must admit that I'm one of those that included the 98% group, Jason.

Frankly, when talking about the country that starts with letter "D", I was thinking of "Djibouti" first, but I cannot find any fruits that starts with letter "i"! So, I switched it to Denmark...!

Never mind Wilson - that's why we are the 98%. Indian Prune and Indian Cherry are the only two fruits that start with the letter "i".

We have another 2% genious! Not fair - maybe it only makes Australians 98% stupid!

Gratz Siamsurf! Where are you from that you have King Cobras hanging around?

Lol, I consider an onion a fruit, so it was:

Kangaroo in Denmark eating an onion!

No 2% for you!

Onion is a vegetable - considered a bulb from the veggie family. Nice try though
