Are we all going to be peeping toms?

It seems that for numerous people their blog is in a way their diary. The question is why would you think your diary will interest people? Do you lead such an unusual or extraordinary life? But most of all who are these people who read these blogs and why do they do it?
I can't help it to think that they are among the same people that spy on people on the internet.... Well you know these people who put a camera in their room and people come regularly to see what they do. mmmmm..... doesn't that reminds you of numerous TV shows?
Is been a peeping tom becoming so common and acceptable today? well yes if you think you are not on a tree spying on the neighbours but the principle is the same.
So really, even if some people say that it is the dream that anybody can become a star, don't you think that the peeping and gossiping seems to be more what motivates us?
In the beginning as a lot of people I thought that this would be a phase. Why would these reality shows survive? They offer nothing. They are not really entertaining. They all look alike. Sometimes they are degrading.
But apparently they are surviving really well.
So are we all happy being peeping toms and gossipers?
