What is Residual income? Residual income is what I basically live for. It’s the reason that I no longer work 9 to 5 in the forty-year plan that we all stuck in and it’s the reason why I have just come back from my third family vacation in six months. It’s also the reason that I have no more mortgage and no car payments and that I can afford to have a new bowling ball made and have the cat fixed. The dictionary defines residual income as “Earnings that are accrued on a frequent basis - usually monthly. These earnings are generated from members in a down line. Repeat Business: The situation when a customer returns to purchase a product or service. This is seen as a key endorsement of a business.”

Have you heard of this term before? Basically, it’s when you are earning money day after day, week after week, and month after month without doing any extra work. It’s also when you make a sale once, most likely from a program with a monthly fee, and you get commissions for every month that your customer stays in the program

What "E" Can Do For Your Business

May 18th 2007 15:24
That one small letter, added to words like commerce and business to indicate electronic activity when the World Wide Web first emerged as a commercial limb of the Internet is still forcing changes everywhere. Companies of all sizes are still struggling with how, when, and where to adapt to the new business demands and realities that little “e” imposes.

Confused? Think words like “force” “struggle” and “demand” are a little extreme when talking about an “e”? It may just be a letter, and a little one at that, but the impact it’s had on the world has been tremendous—and we’ve only seen the beginning

eBay businesses face new opportunities and challenges. Every site advancement on eBay makes it easier for more sellers to auction their merchandise. At the same time, this increase in competition also diminishes the potential returns for eBay sellers.
Simple laws of supply and demand dictate that as more eBay sellers put up their items up for auction, they will see lower selling prices for their eBay auctions.
Is there something an eBay seller can do to reverse this trend? Even better, can eBay sellers increase their average sale in the face of the increasing product supply on eBay

Summer Weddings

May 15th 2007 15:11
Wedding bells are chimming in the background signalling that the summer wedding days and planning are here yet again. Weddings are stressful on anybody, whether you're the bride or groom, the parents, the coordinator, or even the ones that are in the wedding. There may be times in which you feel like you have more things on your plate than what you have accomplished.

Weddings can be an extravagant thing or just something small and intimate. It's all on how you plan it and work things out. One big thing that can really get your mind going on what is right for your future spouse are wedding rings. The traditional way to pick out your wedding rings is by going to a jewelry store. But if you don't want the hassle, going online to find the perfect ring is the next best thing. Sometimes going online you can find diamond engagement rings that may fit your budget than shopping retail which may cost you a pretty penny

You talk to practically any lender and apply for a loan. They do all the processing and verifications and finally, you own the house and now you have a home loan and you make mortgage payments. You might be making payments to the company who originated your loan, or your loan might have been transferred to another institution.

The company you make your payments to very rarely owns your loan. They are the "servicer" of your mortgage. They are called the servicer because they are simply "servicing" your loan for the institution that does own it

1) Pay yourself first - This is a must for self-employed individuals, for owners of small businesses, and for anyone not covered by a company retirement plan. There are many financial temptations that face you every time you receive your salary / pay cheque. But if you don't take some out for yourself and put it into some form of investment vehicle, with planning for later life in mind, no one else will do it for you. The principle of Pay Yourself First is explained in the financial classic, "The Richest Man in Babylon," by George C. Clason.

2) Increase your assets, reduce your liabilities - Asset means: something that will put money in your pocket over time. Liability means: something that will cost you money over time. When you have money burning a hole in your pocket it's all to easy to buy things you think you need: New Car, Expensive Stereo Equipment etc. For example: You buy a luxury car for £30,000 over a period of 10 - 15 years chances are it will be worth a very small percentage of what you paid for it. However if you bought a £15,000 car & invested the other £15,000 wisely, your investment over 10 years could easily be worth £30,000 & possibly much more, which in theory means your initial outlay of £15,000 for your car has been recouped. Free car! You work hard for your money, make sure your money works hard for you. This principle and others vital to wealth are discussed at length in the best-selling book, "Rich Dad Poor Dad," by Robert T. Kiyosaki, with Sharon L. Lechter, C.P.A

TOP TIPS

May 12th 2007 16:36
Some people dismiss writing to the letters pages of magazines as beneath them. True – it's never going to earn you a fortune, but we know many writers who make enough money to fund their leisure activities, or win themselves interesting and useful 'gifts'. One of our students, James Hendrie, says, "Writing letters to newspapers has given me experience in writing and disciplined me to work to a weekly plan. I currently earn between £70 – £100 a month from such letters and, over 21 months, have totalled a staggering £1500 from this source of writing." So, here are some tips to make the most of your letter writing.

Keep your letters short and to the point. Study letters in past editions of the magazine you are targeting and write to a similar length

Memory Card

May 12th 2007 13:51
Digital cameras store images on memory cards. Memory cards can therefore be compared with film in a traditional camera. The good news is that inserting a memory card into a digital camera is a lot more straightforward than loading a roll of film.

Some digital cameras come with built in cards, although the capacity of built in cards is usually limited. There are many different memory cards available, including compact flash, SD cards, xD cards and Memory Stick. Unfortunately individual cameras normally only use one type of card, therefore you need to make sure that if you buy an additional card it is compatible with your camera

Even though some are local, most credit card criminals are in far away lands. Worse than that, they like to hide or go by other names so it’s virtually impossible to track them down.

APR's or Annual Percentage Rate of interest are supposed to be a reliable basis on which the public can judge the true cost of the money they borrow. But can the figures be relied on? This article comments.

A pound from one lender is as good as a pound from another. So when you're shopping for a loan, the key issue becomes the interest rate. Consequently, when you read press advertisements and visit web sites, the APR of interest highly influences which lenders or loan brokers you apply to. After all, the government introduced APR's as a standard calculation that every lender has to use, precisely to help the public make reliable comparisons

Reading Bible

He was so involved in reading the Bible; he never noticed that the lady was in the clinic. Just to divert his attention towards her, she started to clear her throat. After few minutes as the surgeon closed the Bible; he turned his attention towards her.

Just then the lady asked the surgeon “Exactly when does the reading of Bible help you, "before" or "after" the surgery

The best things to ever come out of Yahoo, as far as I'm concerned, have been the work of individuals. Not of some hyperbolic purple and yellow machine, but from people, strong-willed individuals willing to buck the bureaucracy. And all the worst stuff the company has done has come out of committees. If Microsoft buys Yahoo, a huge (huge) number of talented people will be even richer than before and will almost certainly walk away

Summer Holidays !!!

May 8th 2007 06:39
When the long-awaited summer holidays finally appear, those who are no longer children experience the flood of memories of days gone by...........I remember how as a student i would eagerly wait for this time of the year.Holidays were fun...just relaxing, reading a book or two, watching movies ,meeting friends but more importantly no studies! I always loved the fact that school never took place during that season. Since there was no school, that meant that I had about two months of free time .. I wouldn’t have to wake up early every morning to go to school. No home -work and no time tables..
As children, we were free; free to daydream, free to spend our time doing what we wanted to do, free to believe anything was possible; but as we grow and get older, our freedoms change and our responsibilities grow heavier. It’s ironic how what you enjoy doing as a young child are the exact things you dream about doing again as a young adult.
From little kids to grown adults, summer has many meanings. Kids look forward to summer and grown-ups just look at it as more work to do around the house. That’s just the way it is. One of the best memories I have of is the trips to places near and far...Meeting relatives and friends was an annual affair not to be missed .Visits to Grandma's house were fun

MY DATES WITH DENTISTS

May 4th 2007 14:26
I had just stepped into a dentist office and I read this inspiring quote ‘To extract is human but to restore is divine’. That sums up the dreary dictum of dentists. Have you ever come back from a dentist hearing good news about your teeth? No! It’s always bad news. Dentistry means drilling, filling and billing.

It is the second worst fear after public speaking.I had just a cavity in my molar tooth. He made a mountain out that molar inventing four more. He then asked my father what kind of filling he should use. Hearing it, I snapped back- ‘Chocolate or Ice cream filling please!’ On my next date, he informed my father that a tooth needed extraction. My father asked, ‘What is the fee doctor?’ He said ‘Fifty rupees.’ My penny-pinching father made a bargain note- ‘Doctor, Fifty rupees for just five minutes of job!’ The dentist retorted dauntlessly, ‘I can extract slowly, if you want

A confession of emotion would be perfect, if it’s genuine. Don’t bother explaining all the mitigating factors, your good intentions, accidental circumstances, and so on. Try a simple, sincere “I love you,” instead. I bet it will do the trick better than any excuse (no matter how good) ever could.

How to Make a Napkin Hat

May 4th 2007 13:34
Your first consideration is your choice of napkin. Some designs can be accomplished with paper napkins, but cloth napkins create decor with a touch of class, and are easier to work with when creating masterpieces for your table. Consider your choice of fabric. Cotton or cotton blends are very washable, less expensive and easily available. Linen or linen blend napkins are often the choice in your favorite upscale restaurants. Compare what you have in your linen closet, kitchen drawer, or your favorite kitchenware store to decide which is the best texture and price range for your needs. Next, consider your fabric design. You may want to stick with a plain color that fits your theme or season of choice, but will be versatile for other uses. For a fanciful touch, consider a pattern that fits the holiday for which you are preparing. If you are feeling ambitious, perhaps you might want to purchase and hem napkins from commercial material. Be sure to look for napkins that are at least 15 inches in length, with a square shape.

Your next step is to prepare your chosen napkins. If you are using new napkins, they may be stiff enough to suit napkin folding simply because of their commercial preparation. If you are expecting your guests to use your creations, though, you might want to wash them and begin anew. Depending on the quality of your napkins, you may want to begin with a starch treatment, or spray on a spray starch prior to ironing. This treatment will give your napkins a more workable and long lasting texture. In any case, iron each napkin carefully before folding, steaming out any wrinkles, paying special attention to hems, which tend to become very puckered over time

What do I write about today?!?!

I've been known to give my politically incorrect opinion from time to time. It doesn't always make friends for me, but it almost always guarantees participation on my blog. And I think people respect people who take a stand... usually.

2) Think about what you did the day or week before. Do you have an interesting or humorous anecdote to share? The best movies, books and plays are just stories at their core. You can tell a story, so why not share it with the world? Again, the personal touch may be just what the doctor ordered
