This is like a mini Niagra falls."
The energy here is amazing. it's a little stronger then usual due to some spring rain and you abviously don't play here. <grins> further up the fall you can get in where it's ahallow and sun bath on HUGE rocks. we don't spen as much time here. it's where the only bathroom is though, so we do pass it once a trip usualy. yesterday on our hike, i think i touched an oak tree. then from getting all hot and sweaty from all the rock clombing to get to the fall, i got a horrible, itchy rash under my eyes and on my forehead. we hurried as best as you can hurry, straight up about a hundred steps back out of the fall, to wash my face with cold water and soap. to help stop the break out. no itchies today. <smiles>

more pics of the fast moving waterslide. no sliding in the spring. but it'll slow doewn very soon and will be full of people having an awesome time.

ooohhhh that's cold!!!

i sooo LOVE this place and although i just went yesterday, i am already longing to go back. <soft smile> we have a youth board meeting tonight though. so our day is going to be broke up a bit. go to the meeting and then maybe go put some veggies in taht are bursting their cups.

Tracy, i just LOVE this place. especialy since it holds the water fall to play in, the natural waterslide to slide in, the swimming type hole to swim in, great places to white water raft and pic nick places, they even have great bike trails and hiking trails. it's an awesome park.

When I was growing up, my family and I would go rafting down river. It was so much fun.... When I am in your "neck of the woods" I will certainly look it up!

Mis, yes, you must look it up, or ask for a tour. <smiles>it is amust for anyone taht loves nature. when we lived in aIllinois we'd go campung and on float trips in six or eight men rafts over albor day and memorial, renting a cabin year after year. i'd like to do a campground or B& B one day.
we white water rafted in Colorado a couple times too. very fun!!! kind'a scary, but very fun.
