Rain in the desert

Rain pitter patters
Hitting the desert floor
Yellow turns to orange
Rubbish washed away
Colours that were hidden
Replace the light
In the mountains
A rainbow appears
In the time of celebration
A baby boy has arrived
All fresh and safe
In the arms of a new mother
Far from the vision
But next to the heart
she fills up the cup
As the rain falls
Life is at its importance
And I can't complain
For I have what I need
And will have it
No matter where I am
This is it.

Men are from no speaking part of the world -

Man: Enough
Woman: But there was that tone, and then there was the lying.. I mean why would you do that, rather than just tell me the truth. Its not that hard.. just tell me how it is.
Man : Enough
Woman : What do you mean enough? Enough of what... Well how have you had enough. I'm the one that has had enough of you slipping off without any questions and I'm given the overall if I go off to work.
Man : Look! Enough!
Man (thinking): What is she on about? I lost her on 'there was that tone'. If she doesn't stop talking I'll just walk away.

Woman : You don't understand a word I'm saying or you just can't emphasis how I feel and if I ever did such a thing you would be disguised.
Man : ENOUGH
Woman: There's no need to shout and get angry. All I'm asking for is for you to tell me information that will effect me and my life. Is that so hard to do?
Man: Uff ( and he walks away)
Woman: Ahhh now just walk away and don't address any of our problems. I'm obviously not that important to you and you can do without. You don't deserve me. I've had it up to here with you and you don't give a shit about how I feel.
Man : Ahhh finally some peace and quiet. (as he closes the back sliding door and retreats to his cave)
Woman: Fine be an absolute jerk and I'll go and bitch about you to all my friends.

men vs women

Why do men have to become the better?
Why do men have to have no empathy?
Empathy of a women.
Is it possible for a man to feel this feeling
Stepping on footsteps
That haven't been taken.
Changing their tone
Before you can speak
Shutting the words
and changing the volume.
Taking the hand from behind your shoulder.
Steal your voice
From your cough ridden throat
And stuff the words back into your stomach
Touch and take
Whatever they want
Throw you back when the game is over
Constant complaining
And wiping up crumbs
I wasn't lying
I just wasn't telling the truth.
Take a seat
In the waiting line
of Peace
Of the mind and soul
Whenever you step
The man will be there
to cover your toes
Take what is yours
And ask for more.
Not a thank you
for asking
Not a worry
Except for themselves
And the working world
When tables will turn
Displaced as he will be
No words can replace
the empathy he will need
To steady and place
His new wandering feet
In a world that is no longer his
But of comfort and home
And well trodden feet.
