Animals get a bad rap

Humans may be at the top of the food chain but we often tend to use that status too literally and blame our problems on "lower" species.

Take, for instance, the recent outbreaks of H1N1, better known as "swine flu." Before that, the big scare was "bird flu."

This disrespect of inferior species has even found its way into our technology. Des anyone remember the "monkey virus" that infect our computers?

What about dogs? Mans best friend? I think not!
