Stop...Think....What can u put on a stick that contains vegetables, dairy products, meat and natural vitamins?
I only had 30minutes to create a meal and serve a mini entree to 12 guests. As I was going through my fridge I came across a variety of cheeses, olives, tomatoes, and a few basil leaves, lemons, bocconcini, cold meats including grilled chicken strips.
So, first thought was...it needs to coincide with the vegetable pasta dish I was making. The Olives must be used (salty taste)...along with the bocconcini (plain in taste but soft texture)...tomatoes (sweet tasting) and lemon dressing with some crushed garlic and pepper to taste. Cold meat can be wrapped around the cheese as the salt from the meat will penetrate in.
Place everything on the stick and easy as you have your entree!

Now, for all those that just judge a meal by its appearance...think again! Great food should be reviewed according to taste as well as its nutritional value, along with presentation of course.

Some people don’t mind how their food is presented, others do. I know when I eat out I believe the way food is presented contributes to weather consumers find it appealing or not to eat.

Layout and presentation of foods and there ingredients is also important when it comes to children.
Most children do not like to eat food that contains nutritional value, if their meals are presented in a fun way or vegetables are cut and arranged in a colourful manner then the nutritional needs of children can be well met.

Food at home as well as food purchased already made away from home should always be well presented. Our conscious tells us just by looking at it if we will enjoy it or not, it’s up to us to decide whether or not we will like the meal we are about to eat.

Do I like the look of this meal? Does it smell bad? I am going to love this... I see chocolate!
Eat me kid!
mmm chocolate
