Angie And College Ex

February 15th 2012 00:52

The end of the lecture came into completion. Angie smiled as the lecturer dismissed them. She heard everyone laugh. They had been scribbling hard, and had obviously been thinking up their next thesis. Angie shuffled out of the room before they had time to look. She didn’t want them to know that she had come back. However she would be there as calm as day next lesson.

Angie moved to her dorm. She picked up a sandwich from the vending machine, and then she moved to her room. She had obtained a lone dorm. Her parents rented out the two spaces so that she was able to study in still and peace. They didn’t want anyone wrecking her change for high achievement. So they made the special arrangements, and it was done.

Angie sat alone as she boiled the kettle. She opened the sandwich and tried to eat a portion. However her stomach still had the willies, and so after a moment she re-wrapped the sandwich and placed it inside of the fridge. Angie smiled as she glared at the empty room. It was like one really large bedroom, and she really enjoyed it. She felt almost blessed that she had been able to be given such a nice room. However when her senses picked up she also realised that it was just a normal room.

Angie looked right and left. She then sighed. The kettle had begun to ring, and so she moved over in order to turn it off. She placed a tea-bag inside of a cup, and was about the pour when a knock was heard on her door.

“Who could that be?” asked Angie as she narrowed her eyes.

Angie opened the door. She spied her ex-boyfriend Lachlan. He smiled at her and blew her a kiss. She hated it. It was filled with all the mock that a jock could give, and she narrowed her eyes.

“What are you doing here?” she asked as she narrowed her stare.

“I don't know I heard you had dropped out;” told Lachlan before he pushed himself inside of the room. “Wow parents rented big!” he exclaimed as he looked at a space that was no doubt her bedroom re-arranged. “It's a replica of your other room!” he muttered.

Angie giggled and closed the door. She then moved a step towards Lachlan as he scoped out a couple of things. Lachlan saw the fridge and dove for it. He immediately found the sandwiches and began to gobble.

“That's my lunch!” Angie wanted to charge, however she didn't feel like saying it.

She just allowed Lachlan to gobble the sandwich up as he looked around. After he noticed the tea he even made himself a drink before he began to settle down on the luxury couch she had imported.

“This is like being in a movie set!” he exclaimed before he laughed and crawled his eyes to Angie who shook her head at him. “So what's up? Why you walk out of class?” he questioned.

“I was going to, but I came back;” told Angie after a moment.

“That's no good;” told Lachlan as he narrowed his eyes. “Why?” he asked before he finished his tea and placed it on the floor.

“I thought I had had enough;” told Angie as she shrugged.

“I tell you you haven't!” warred Lachlan. “You push that head of yours down and keep going until you have obtained your degree!” he said as he narrowed his eyes. “It's only two years of your life;” he muttered. “You may as well do it;” he said.

“I know;” muttered Angie as she sulked. “I turned around and came back;” she said in drawl.

“Good, because that's where you need to be;” told Lachlan before he pushed a mint inside of his mouth and began to heatedly chew.

Angie looked at the mints. She didn't want to ask for one, but she knew she liked them. They were the ice-cool jubes that made your mouth feel as though it were frozen. She smiled as she recalled the day when she could push five inside of her mouth and then walk around not being able to feel her tongue. It was the dangerous jube, and it was great for practical jokes.

“So word gets around fast;” muttered Angie as she watched Lachlan glare at her.

“I'll say; muttered Lachlan as he rolled his eyes.

Angie glared at Lachlan, and then she turned around in order to take herself to the wall. There she stared at him as she played with a ornamental flower. He glared at her, and then he chuckled before he began to relax.

“I like your place;” he muttered. “I had to share mine bunked with six people;” he said.

“That must be hard;” muttered Angie.

“I know;” he warred. “But it's the cheap rental and I can read on the bed;” he explained.

“I got my own room so I could study;” Angie said.

“Good o;” told Lachlan before he looked up to Angie and then grinned. “If I grow sick and lethargic I might crawl here and ask to stay the night;” he said as he smiled and blushed under his eyes.

“I don't mind;” told Angie.

“Good because you've been really energised by this pep talk;” Lachlan muttered.

“Well... I already had decided to continue on;” told Angie as she shrugged.

“So re-energised;” he muttered as he shrugged.

“So you did nothing;” told Angie.

“So?” Lachlan asked as he shrugged before he pulled a face. “You could have perked up a little;” he muttered.

“I am sorry...” told Angie as she sucked in a breath. “But you've really done nothing;” she added.

Lachlan stood up. He narrowed his eyes as he looked to Angie who sulked on her side of the room. He sucked in a deep breath, and then he pulled an unhappy face.

“Well I best leave you alone;” he warred before he moved to the door and left.

Angie looked to the door. It had locked now that it had been closed. She had almost wanted him to have stayed. But her mind had made itself unhappy. She had wanted to war, and so she knew it was better that he leave. However with his absence came hunger. Angie decided that she was hungry again, and she felt herself stress as she realised that Lachlan had eaten her sandwich.

“Great I will have to go and get myself a new one!” she muttered before she picked up a note and walked out of the room.
