Review: Samsung Juke SCH-U470

The Samsung Juke is a phone I personally own. I've had it since December, and I'd say I can make a pretty fair assessment of the pros and cons of this phone.

Let's start with what I like about the Juke. First, it's small. I love a phone that isn't bulky, and it's stylish too. Every time I pull it out of my pocket, I always get a comment from a friend standing next to me if they haven't seen it before. I also really like the 2GB you get for the mp3 storage. I've had other mp3 phones, but this one tops them all with the easy usability and scroll wheel that you use to navigate through your music.

Contrary to popular thought, the Juke is a solid phone. I've heard a lot of people say they'd be afraid of breaking it because it's so small, but I've roughed it up quite a bit and there hasn't been a single defect yet.

Here are some of the cons. The Juke tried to implement a scroll wheel which can be used to navigate around the menu and to work with the mp3 player. The problem is, if you carry your phone in your pocket like I do, the scroll wheel doesn't work as well because all the lint and other stuff in your pocket gets into the wheel and makes the scrolling less smooth.

Also, I've seen better quality cameras on other phones. The Juke is definitely not a phone you want if you want fairly decent pictures. Oh, and did I forget to mention that pictures are all you can do. The Juke cannot take video with it's camera.

Overall, this is a good phone, but if any of the things I mentioned that don't work well are things you're looking for in a phone, I'd start looking at something else. The Juke is a phone you'll either love or you'll hate. It all depends on what you're looking for.

I know, it sounds bizarre, but it's true. Scientists have implanted neural censors into the brains of two monkeys, and these monkeys figured out how to move a robotic arm with their thoughts. They have learned to pick up and move different items.

Scientists hope to use this technology in the future for people who have spinal problems or paralytics. Though this new mind control technology is not ready for consumer use, it is something that we can expect to see in the not so far future.
