Blogg Entry #5 (LINK)

Blogg Entry #5

I just went out and bought a pack of cigarettes, even though I´ve quit, ´cause this surveillance buisness is really stressing me out. Don´t you just love the dirty feeling of smoke and chemicals filling your lungs?

As usual media coverage of this proposed bill has been minimal. But there have been a few articles about it, like this one written by Stefan Carlén, chairman of Ordfront (a swedish association on the left hand of the political scale that publishes books and a magazine with focus on social and cultural issues) and Maria Rankka, CEO of Timbro (a liberalist think tank and publishing company). An unexpected collaboration that highlights the importance of coming together across political lines to offer resistance to the big brother society thats being built up all around us.

The major political partys that´s had anything negative to say about this mass surveillance in the past have all turned around on the issue and now we have to set our hopes to piratpartiet (the pirateparty), a swedish political party that takes up the struggle against unwarranted surveillance. The party has grown to a major political factor since it´s founding in januari 2006 and pirate parties have begun popping up all around the world.

And even though we are all supposed to give up our basic right to privacy the bilderberg meetings continue without any public insight and almost no press coverage even though alot of people from corporate media attend the meetings.
Alex Jones, journalist and documentary filmmaker has exposed the group and their probable agenda in his film End Game which you can watch here. Or download it here or here.

* In dealing with certain crimes, you are presumed guilty until proven innocent.

Doesn´t that, unfortunatly, seem to be the case in alot of countries?

Lebanon
* Men are legally allowed to have sex with animals so long as the animals are female. It is illegal to have sex with a male animal.

This one made me laugh since here in sweden bestiality is perfectly legal as long as you don´t "physically hurt" the animal. Actually this happened not far from where I grew up. A man broke in to a barn and had sex with a pig and he only got charged for breaking and entering =)

The most time consumeing part of blogging for me is writing and drawing my comics, which tends to take between 3 and 7 hours of active work, not counting the research behind them. Writing the actuall blog entry takes me between 15 minutes to an hour and a half. And then I usually find something wrong with my posts, spelling or whatever so I go back and edit them.

Johnson was unimpressed. "The energy he receives into his house is no different than what I receive into my house," he said. "He doesn't have a green power line hooked to his house."

The report also said that the Gores' natural gas bills for his mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year.
Natural gas is a fossil fuel.

Anyhow, you´re right, this is starting to look like dirt throwing, and it isn´t productive.
The real issue is that man made global warming is a scam, designed to get us to accept a global carbon tax and a one world government to regulate it. Which is why I think the Bilderberg group made sure Gore got the peace prize.

I call bullshit on that. A single article wouldn't persuade him at all, if there was a massive media campaign against him then he changed his ways, then sure, but one single article? Nope, thats hardly enough to persuade him to change and unless you can put down stone cold citations on the table I can't say that I'm convinced.

No, your totaly right, ONE article wouldn´t do shit. But apparently he got a lot of press about his energy guzzling mansion. Fox news, BBC and CNN ,among others, reported on it.

"Gore’s mansion, located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES)."

"...a renovation of the Gores' house is underway to make it more energy efficient, an update that will include the addition of solar panels."

Actually, even the murdering neo-con Geroge W Bush´s ranch seems alot more enviromentaly friendly than Gore´s mansion.

Not trying to defend al gore but his big mansion is actually very energy efficient and he uses renewable energy in it too. He doesn't ever claim that we should all live humbly, he says we should manage our energy usage.

I read somewhere that his house consumed twenty times that of an average american household. But I also read that he decided to make his house more energy efficient after that article came out. So he´s been "fighting for the climate" since the 70s or when ever, and he hasn´t actually tried to make his house enviromentaly friendly untill some one writes an article about it? That´s what I call commitment!

on Movie Sequels - Which are the Best?

November 7th 2007 12:33
I´d have to say that Terminator 2 and all of George Romero´s zombie sequels are the best.
Oh, and of corse Aliens, wich was much better then the first one.

Congratts on a well written article. I fully agree that 911 was an inside job and alot of people are actually waking up to this fact.
I´m guessing you are familiar with Alex Jones? If you want to see his latest documentary, End game, you can fin it at googlevideo.

Whats your take on global warming? If you´d like to know mine just check out my comic blog.

I live in swedens third largest city, wich isn´t all that big fortunetly. But there are already a lot of cameras around.
The building I live in doesn´t just have cameras, it has electronic tags to open doors, but the wierd thing is that the information is stored in a computer indefinetly. So someone could, theoretically, check up on how often I do my laundry or at what times I come and go.

I don´t think it´s quite that easy. I mean sure, I get frustrated with people for not caring, but you have to remember that they´ve been conditioned not to.

I think that the world would seriously change if TV across the globe went out for just a couple of weeks.

Yes they are.
We´ve had quite a few examples of this in sweden to. Like the "mental care reform" where a lot of crazy people were thrown out of institutions and put in apartments. Wich led to an increase of violent, crasy ass crimes, wich in turn led to a public outcry for stricter laws and harder punishments.
