and then we held hands (LINK)
My story, as an answer to Toni's post
It was just a hunch. We didn't really talk about it until now that we're a few blocks from his house. This is something new, something different. Should we or shouldn't we go through it?
We decided we should, and so we made a quick stop.
There we were in the kitchen, just standing there, not sure how to go about it. Decided the only way to go about it was to just jump right in... three times.
A few minutes and three tests later, it was confirmed. The pink line only meant one thing. We're pregnant!
It was a mix of feelings, first off, we aren't married and growing up both in catholic families, that's not good. I was happy, scared and yet excited. Then a sudden rush of panic. It was just... just a hunch!
What do we do next? What's going to happen next? What will my parents say and what will his mom say? Worse, what happens if he panics even more than I am doing now and suddenly runs away from all of ME?!?
"But when he reached over to touch my hand, I knew. I knew this was all I ever needed. I knew that we would just be fine."
